I honestly did not have high expectations for this property because of its age and dated appearance. As the only motel in the Troy area, I took a chance. Happily, my two 2-night stay turned out beautifully. The room was clean and comfortable. The WiFi worked great, too! Most of all, I was impressed by the staff, who cheerfully accommodated my two requests. Also, the location was perfect for my visit to the Uwharrie National Forest. I would happily stay here again.

The motel is located far back from roadway and buffers highway traffic. Lots of free parking and felt safe. Grocery and drug store within walking distance. Owner and staff were very friendly. Definitely stay here again.
